Bookings

- We request that all packages, promotions and events are paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

- If you are no longer able to attend your booking and let us know at least 48 hours before your arrival time, you can put in a request to move your booking to an alternative date. The acceptance/decline of this will be made at the companies’ discretion and if accepted must be re-booked within 3 months of the original arrival date.

- If Hellidon Lakes Hotel have to cancel your booking for any reason, we will offer you an alternative date to re-book or a full refund.

- Spa Packages and Spa Days are paid in advance and are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Medical Advice

If you have had or are suffering from severe allergies, ill health or a particular medical condition, we ask that you inform us upon booking and speak with your GP prior to booking. All treatments and Thermal Spa bookings are booked subject to medical status. We reserve the right to refuse treatment/s or access if we feel it is not in your best interest.

Spa Treatments

- Please arrive atleast 10 minutes prior to your treatment time to guarantee that your treatment begins on time. This will allow you to be relaxed and ensure all medical questionnaires are up to date.

- Client care and consultations are included within the treatment time.

- We recommend you leave all valuables at home. We cannot be responsible for any missing items in the spa. Jewellery needs to be removed prior to treatments commencing.

- Underwear/dry swimwear must be worn during treatments.

- All treatments are subject to availability. We strongly advise you to book in advance.

- Please ensure you have completed your Client intake form/ health questionnaire to the best of your knowledge. Hellidon Lakes will not be held liable for any consequences arising from false, inaccurate or misleading information provided.

- Treatments are subject to medical status and we have the right to refuse treatment should we feel it is not in your best interest or if will put our therapists at risk.

- Any special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or existing discounts.

-  On making your reservation, please advise us if you have any health concerns or allergies so that we can guide you towards the best treatments.

- Clients must be over 16 years old in order to receive a treatment. Clients under 18 years old must attend with a responsible adult.

- Guests are welcome to relax in our treatment lounge – we ask guests to be quiet in this area so not to disturb other guests.

- The use of mobile phones in our Treatment Lounge and Treatment rooms is prohibited.

Pregnancy

Firstly, congratulations. Time to relax and unwind is very important, however if you are within your first 12 weeks, to protect you and your baby we are unable to offer any treatments.

At 12+ weeks you will find most of our treatments are suitable for you, and our therapists will ensure to adapt the treatment for your comfort.

If you are postpartum or breast feeding, please let us know so we can make the necessary changes to your treatment.

Thermal Spa Usage

- The Thermal Spa is not included in Hotel Reservations unless on a Spa Package.

- Appropriate swim wear must be worn when using our thermal suite.

- For their own Health and Safety, children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the thermal suite.

- All guests must shower before using the Thermal Spa Facilities.

- Usage of the Saunas, steam rooms and hydro-pool facilities is done so at the guests own risk.

- Mobile phones and loud behaviour are discouraged within relaxation areas.

- Taking photos and filming is not prohibited in our Thermal Spa for the privacy of our guests.

- Guests should not use thermal facilities if pregnant, under the influence of alcohol/drugs, or suffering from medical conditions that may be affected by heat.

- All guests must follow all posted Spa Etiquette and any instructions given to them from the staff.

- For the safety of all users, the team may ask you to leave an area should any maintenance issues arise.

Wellness Suite Facilities

- Only guests of the Hotel, Leisure Club Members and Spa Day Packages are able to use our Gym and Thermal Spa.

- There is an additional charge of £20.00 per person for a 2 hour session in our Thermal Spa for Hotel guests. This is subject to availability and you are unable to pre-book unless included in a package. We advise you speak with the team on arrival to check availability.

- Hotel Guests may use the Gym facilities free of charge, subject to availability. Maximum Capacity is 18 guests at any one time.

- The Gym may only be used by people over the age of 16, under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

- The gym is to be used at the users own risk, please ensure you have sought advice from a health care professional should you have a medical condition or health concern prior to taking part in any activity.

- Our Bowling Alley and Tennis Courts are available to pre-book, and incur additional charges. These are available to be pre-booked by external guests.

- Our Spa Lounge is reserved for guests on Spa Packages.

Personal Belongings

- Lockers are provided for convenience only, and are subject to availability.

- Hellidon Lakes accept no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

- Items left overnight may be removed.

Laundry Items

- Towels are provided to use while using the Wellness Suite’s facilities, these must be returned into the laundry bins provided.

- Dressing gowns and flip-flops are subject to availability and incur additional charges unless otherwise stated in your Spa Day Package.

- Dressing gowns must be returned to us at the end of your session otherwise you will be charged.
